Job Description

Sea Country Veterinary Medical Center is a brand-new, state-of-the-art general practice for small animals in Laguna Niguel. We're a single-doctor practice built around unhurried, high-quality medicine and a tight-knit team, and we're looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician or an experienced Veterinary Assistant to help us shape it from the ground up.

What you'll do:

Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
Surgical prep and assistance
Dental prophylaxis
Venipuncture, catheter placement, and in-house lab work
Radiology
Patient care and client education
Supporting the day-to-day flow of appointments

What we're looking for:

Active California RVT license, or 3+ years of hands-on veterinary assistant experience (anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, radiology, surgical prep)
Strong anesthesia and dental skills
Someone who enjoys building things right rather than inheriting someone else's habits
New grads with solid clinical instincts welcome

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on licensure and experience.

Sea Country Veterinary Medical Center is a brand-new, full-service general practice for dogs, cats, and small companion species, opening fall 2026 at 27932 La Paz Road in Laguna Niguel, California. We provide wellness and preventive care, dentistry, in-house diagnostics and digital imaging, ultrasound, and soft-tissue surgery in a newly built, state-of-the-art hospital.

We're a single-doctor, owner-led practice built around unhurried, high-quality medicine and a tight-knit team. Because we're starting from scratch, the people who join us now get to shape how the hospital runs rather than inherit someone else's habits. We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and an annual continuing education allowance.
