Director of Hospital Engagement, RN

• Meet with case managers daily at assigned hospitals
• Check on the status of new and existing patients and ensure patients and/or caregivers know what to expect while on service
• Create and carry out specific sales plans and market development plans aligned with company goals and objectives
• Provide regular feedback to corporate management regarding sales activity and market development success
• Complete documentation for new patient referrals and work with the branch team to obtain appropriate paperwork to set up patients on service
• Respond to patient questions and concerns; assess patient needs, status, and tolerance issues; troubleshoot and make recommendations
• Coordinate efforts with and provide pertinent updates to the Payer Relations team throughout patient onboarding
• Interface with physicians, dietitians, and case managers to clarify and manage patients’ clinical needs
• Respond to and follow up with branch requests, including insurance issues, medical eligibility, and clinical information for authorizations
• Assist with special projects involving community patient needs, training requests, and hospital discharge processes
• Perform duties in an office environment during agency operating hours
• Function in varied environments, including possible exposure to allergens, blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases

Requirements Active RN license in the state of Florida Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meet company standards Ability and willingness to travel locally Must maintain company and employee confidentiality at all times Must maintain professional boundaries at all times Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations Attention to detail Time Management Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution Excellent organization and communication skills Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English Frequent lifting, caring, pushing and pulling of up to 25 pounds Occasional lifting, caring, pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting Must be able to sit and climb stairs Must have visual and hearing acuity Frequent lifting and repositioning of patients Repeated or prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, twisting and occasional climbing of stairs Agility and strength sufficient to handle patients and equipment without assistance Must be able to appropriately respond physically and psychologically to emergency situations in the home or during transport Recent NICU, PICU, or pediatric critical care nursing experience preferred Previous experience at a Children's Hospital strongly preferred Home Care or Private Duty Nursing experience a plus Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in patient care coordination, effective communication with healthcare teams, and the ability to manage clinical needs in diverse environments. Holds an active RN license in Florida and possesses strong problem-solving and organizational skills essential for patient onboarding and support.
