School Psychologist

Step into a rewarding role supporting the academic and emotional well-being of elementary students as a full-time School Psychologist at a vibrant K-4 school. You will play a vital part in fostering a positive learning environment in a close-knit setting, serving approximately 500 students with a focus on both evaluation and occasional counseling. What You’ll Need: Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Valid and current School Psychologist certification (applicable for the area) Previous experience working with elementary-age students is preferred Strong skills in assessment, data analysis, and individualized educational planning Compassionate communication and collaborative approach with students, staff, and families Flexibility to address a variety of student needs, from evaluations to brief counseling Ability to work the 7:45 AM – 3:20 PM schedule during the school year What You’ll Do: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students in grades K–4 Write clear, insightful reports and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to identify and support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth Deliver short-term, solution-focused counseling as needed Support school-wide initiatives, wellness efforts, and crisis interventions when necessary Respond to student needs with compassion, expertise, and practical recommendations What’s In It For You: Meaningful impact working with young learners at a formative stage Full-time, school-day schedule allowing for work-life balance Variety in daily responsibilities and the opportunity to utilize a range of skills Supportive team of fellow educators and committed school professionals Experience that will advance your career in educational psychology #J-18808-Ljbffr
