Details 13-week travel assignment in the Cardiovascular ICU on the 2nd floor of a Level 3 trauma hospital 8-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and Carotid diagnoses Patient ratios of 2:1 with occasional 1:1 Uses Impella, IABP, and CRRT equipment Uses Cerner EHR Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend required, or as needed to meet facility needs No on-call requirements Floating required per scheduled rotation Requirements Active RN license (NC or compact) required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience required, with 1 year of CVICU experience after orientation Associate Degree in Nursing required Strong critical thinking skills required Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Active Nursys license verification required at time of consideration Copies of required certifications must be provided Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures Must start on one of the facility's designated 2026 orientation dates Scrubs of any color accepted as long as professional in appearance Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment American Traveler Job ID P-749785.
