Welder and FabricatorPay: $23/hrShift: 5AM - 3:30PMOT is AvailableResponsibilities:Design, fabricates, joins, and/or repairs equipment, fixtures and various types of metal objects and structures using MIG, TIG, Inner shield, and Flux-cored Arc Welding (Dual shield) techniques.99% of what they do is Carbon Steel - very thick gauge and even some aluminum and stainless.Determines layout of weld parts according to drawings and company/customer requirements.Executes welds in all positions including from underneath, to the side, in a variety of shapes such as in a tube, and more.Assists during welding of components in areas of expertise.Assists with design and set-up of work centers.Completes required weld documentation including line check sheets, and material movement paperwork.Essential Skills:Technical / vocational / or military training or related experience is a PLUS but not required.2+ years of welding experience with at least one (1) years of experience in a similar environment.Capable of meeting AWS D1.1 requirements.Knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, Inner shield, and Flux-cored Arc Welding (Dual shield); aluminum MIG is a plus.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Demonstrate ability to use all appropriate tools, measuring devices, forklifts, cranes, and fixtures required.Why Work Here?You will join a company that invests in your well-being and long-term stability through a comprehensive benefits package and supportive programs.Employees have access to medical coverage with multiple options, dental and vision benefits, and a 401(k) plan to support future financial goals.Additional offerings include prescription benefits, a wellness program, an employee assistance program, disability benefits, and life and AD&D insurance for added security.Generous paid time off and company-paid holidays promote a healthy work-life balance and allow you to recharge and spend time away from work when needed.Access to Blue Cross Blue Shield whil on contract through Aerotek until brought on as direct employee.Work Environment:This position is based in a large industrial manufacturing environment designed to support high-volume fabrication and welding work.The main work area is air conditioned, providing a comfortable indoor setting for most tasks, while some duties may require going outside to the yard for materials in a non-air-conditioned space.You will work around heavy equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and fabrication fixtures, and regularly handle thick-gauge carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.The environment emphasizes safety, proper use of tools and measuring devices, and adherence to established procedures and documentation practices.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $24.66/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
