Optometric Technician Responsibilities can include, but not limited to: Answering calls/texts in a professional manner Verifying medical/vision insurance plans Performing preliminary optometric tests Obtaining patient medical history Maintaining a clean work environment Qualifications Excellent patient care skills Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and software Experience in retail sales is a plus Compensation depends on experience and skill level.
