Summary: This job is responsible for operating material handling equipment in a safe manner for the purpose of moving, locating, stacking and counting merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to transport totes from production lines to the warehouse.
• Load, unload, high-stack, and stage totes of frozen products.
• Accurately enter data and product locations using a hand scanner.
• Read daily order sheets and retrieve appropriate products from the warehouse.
• Load and unload trailers at the dock.
• Perform pre-operation maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues.
• Charge forklift batteries as needed.
• Balance multiple tasks, work under pressure, and exercise good judgment.
• Work independently or with minimal supervision.

Typical Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Relevant Experience: 1+ years related experience and/or training

Other Information: Ability to safely operate a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and high stacking totes.
