Our client is an exciting and growing plaintiff personal injury law firm in the Financial District. With 20 attorneys, they are able to handle a wide variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, Labor Law, workers' compensation, product liability, and more. As a family-run legal practice, their lawyers are committed to guiding accident victims and their families through the complex litigation process to obtain full compensation after a serious or fatal accident. They are trial attorneys.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented financial professional to support the firm's accounting operations and contribute to the accuracy and integrity of our financial systems. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable managing recurring workflows in a fast-paced professional environment. In this role, you will assist with developing and tracking the firm's annual operating budget and help ensure that financial activity aligns with established targets. You will maintain the firm's general ledger within QuickBooks, oversee invoicing and incoming payments, and provide follow-up on outstanding settlement proceeds related to resolved matters. Additional responsibilities include reviewing and reconciling vendor costs tied to specific cases, maintaining internal production and settlement tracking sheets, and preparing monthly reconciliations for credit card statements and bank accounts. You will also generate periodic financial reports and support adherence to GAAP standards and accepted accounting practices. This position is well-suited for someone who values accuracy, enjoys structured financial work, and is eager to play a key role in the firm's day-to-day fiscal management.
