Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Position Description Location: Nashville, TN Unit Information Number of Beds: 12 Patient Ratios: 1:2 Staffing Description: RNs, unit secretary, OR techs Documentation System: CPN, Meditach Scheduling Requirements: 3 weekend shifts and 3 12-hour shifts Floating Policy: Travelers float first Patient Experience Requirements: Shared decision making Qualifications Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery Required Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced) or CEFM ACLS BLS NRP Advanced Skills Needed: Care of the laboring patient Care of the newborn immediately after delivery Circulate and recover cesarean section patients Procedures Performed on Unit Vaginal deliveries Cesarean sections Dilatation and curettage (D&C) Cerclage Epidural anesthesia Tub labor Dress Code Scrubs are not provided by the facility.
