About the Role

The Company is in search of an SVP of Construction for Data Centers to lead the ambitious rollout of digital infrastructure across North America. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind the full lifecycle execution of hyperscale and edge data center construction projects, establishing and managing program-wide standards, and ensuring the delivery of world-class facilities. This executive will have a pivotal role in the company's U.S. operations, with a focus on ground-up construction, commissioning, and delivery. The role demands a seasoned construction leader with a passion for scale, complexity, and legacy-building, who can thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and is dedicated to upholding the highest quality and safety standards. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in data center construction or critical infrastructure projects, with a proven track record in leadership roles. The role requires expertise in general contracting, electrical contracting, or construction management, and the ability to operate in international or cross-cultural environments. The ideal candidate will be adept at budgeting, forecasting, and cost estimating, and possess exceptional communication and leadership skills. A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required, with an advanced degree and professional certifications being a plus. The SVP will be responsible for overseeing all external partners, monitoring project budgets and timelines, and collaborating with cross-functional leadership to align construction efforts with business goals.
