SAP ABAP Developer

Atos Group is an international leader in digital transformation. In the Czech Republic, we operate as two entities Atos and Eviden. Currently, we are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP developer for Eviden who has strong knowledge of both classic and modern ABAP, practical experience in logistics, and has contributed to the transformation of SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. We are also looking for someone who is eager to further develop, follow new SAP technologies, and gradually become involved in modern development approaches in accordance with Clean Core principles.

What awaits you? Development and modifications of applications in the SAP S/4HANA environment using ABAP. Analysis and refactoring of existing solutions from SAP ECC during the transition to S/4HANA. Collaboration on conversion and transformation projects (ECC → S/4HANA). Development and maintenance of solutions in the area of logistics modules (e.g., MM, SD, possibly PP, WM/EWM – depending on the project). Gradual involvement in modern development concepts: CDS Views, ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). Collaboration with architects and consultants on the design of solutions in accordance with Clean Core principles. Participation in technical discussions, code reviews, and the design of development standards. Willingness to learn new SAP technologies and approaches.

What do we expect from you? Very good knowledge of SAP ABAP (classic ABAP, OO ABAP). Practical experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. Experience with transferring/adapting programs from ECC to S/4HANA. Knowledge of logistics processes in SAP (MM, SD; further advantage). Ability to understand existing code and propose its modernization. Interest in new SAP technologies and willingness to develop in them. Independence, responsible approach to development, willingness to learn new technologies and procedures. Ability to collaborate in a team and share know-how. Analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex technical problems. Openness to changes and modern SAP development. Secondary or higher education in a technical or IT direction. SAP certification is an advantage (not a condition). Nice to have if you have experience with: CDS Views, SAP Fiori/UI5, RAP model, knowledge of Clean Core principles, experience with side-by-side development on SAP BTP, basic understanding of integration scenarios (API, events), experience from transformation or greenfield projects.
