The Retail Assistant Manager supports the daily operations of a single retail store, reporting directly to the Store Manager. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service to drive sales and maintain store standards. The Assistant Manager plays a key part in scheduling, loss prevention, and reporting, with strong opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train retail staff to maintain high performance and service standards
• Manage and control inventory to optimize stock levels and reduce shrinkage
• Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance shopper experience
• Monitor and analyze sales performance to meet targets
• Handle cash operations accurately and securely
• Organize merchandising efforts to maximize product visibility
• Prepare regular reports for store management review
• Create and manage staff schedules to meet operational needs
• Implement loss prevention measures to minimize theft and damage

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail management
