Job Summary:

St Johnsbury Center for Living and Rehabilitation, a premier residential, long-term, rehabilitation, and subacute care provider, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Rehab SLP Speech Therapist to join our team in Littleton, NH. About the Role:

As a Director of Rehab SLP Speech Therapist , you will be responsible for leading our rehabilitation team in providing high-quality speech therapy services to our patients. Your expertise will focus on assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and ensure seamless transitions from one level of care to another.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of speech therapists to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals

• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Collaborate with other departments, including therapy, nursing, and social services, to ensure comprehensive patient care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in speech therapy and rehabilitation

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or related field

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the State of Vermont
