Locksmith

Role Overview Locksmiths are responsible for the installation, service, and troubleshooting of locks for a variety of residential, commercial, and enterprise level customers. Responsibilities Install and configure mechanical and electronic locks, access control, and hardware. Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on locking systems. Cut/duplicate keys, rekey cylinders, and manage master-key systems. Communicate with customers, document work, and ensure code compliance. Qualifications At least two years as a locksmith. Strong customer service skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and customer and peer interaction. Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Technologically driven with a desire to learn new technology continually. Strong work ethic and career focused Locksmith, electronic doors, and low voltage Ability to read and understand technical diagrams, manuals, and project documentation. Work Requirements Be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds, exposure to confined spaces (such as attics, basements, crawl spaces), Ability to manipulate objects (such as feeding wires and assembling system components), Ascending and descending ladders, Operating hand tools, driving trucks, large vans, and hauling trailers.
