General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider Providers Full Time , Days Advanced Practice Provider– General Surgery We are searching for a talented, experienced Advanced Practice Practitioner for our General Surgery Practice. The ideal candidate will be driven, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care alongside other members of the interdisciplinary patient care team. What You’ll Do: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical examination, and diagnostic interpretation Manage pre-operative and post-operative visits, including patient education, surgical planning, and follow-up care Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, imaging, and endoscopy results Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Provide patient counseling on disease processes and treatment options Round on inpatients assigned to General Surgery; assist with consultations requested by the ED and Hospitalist services Coordinate referrals and procedures as needed What We’re Looking For: Bachelor Master of Science degree, or Master of Nursing degree from an accredited institution Three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner 3-5 years’ experience as Nurse Practitioner in General Surgery preferred Able to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to maintain confidential information NH Board of Nursing licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner BLS certification preferred Bachelor of Science degree and graduate of American Medical Association Approved Physician Assistant Program Three years of experience as a Physician Assistant 3-5 years’ experience as Physician Assistant in General Surgery preferred Able to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to maintain confidential informationNH Board of Medicine licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant BLS certification preferred Why Join Speare Memorial Hospital?
