In this role you will get to supervise a small group of nonexempt accounting personnel within one Accounting function such as billing, accounts receivable, or payroll. What You'll Be Doing: Responsible for overall management of the Accounts Payable and Travel and Expense department. Manage, support, and provide guidance and direction to the AP and T&E staff, including verification of AP vouchers and expenses reports. Provide recommendations and guidance for proposed enhancements to the AP and T&E processes. Document procedures for the AP and T&E processes. Provide support for vendor management activities, including W-9 processing. Complete 1099’s each year. Coordinate with business unites to process void, reversals, stop payments, etc. Complete other tasks and duties as assigned. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business (or equivalent) and typically 3+ years of related work experience, including some experience in a lead capacity. Proficiency in standard accounting techniques and principles. ,Understanding of all accounting rules and regulations pertaining to assigned area of responsibility. Strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in PC software packages typically associated with accounting, and the potential to perform in a supervisory capacity.
