Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Aerospace / Manufacturing Estimator to join our dynamic team in Anaheim, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by providing accurate cost estimates for aerospace manufacturing projects. If you have a passion for precision and a knack for numbers, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Analyze project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to gather necessary data for estimating.
- Develop and maintain cost databases and estimating tools to enhance efficiency.
- Review and assess subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy and competitiveness.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs and provide updates to ensure budget adherence.
- Participate in project meetings to provide estimating insights and support decision-making.
- Desired (not required) Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an estimator in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
