Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients’ mental health needs and tailor individualized therapy plans accordingly. \n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. \n
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health practice. \n
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop holistic treatment strategies for clients, focusing on integrated care approaches. \n
- Actively participate in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions that focus on the latest advancements in mental health treatment. \n
The successful candidate will work with a diverse client population, including individuals who may have limited access to traditional mental health services. You will encounter a variety of mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to complex trauma and substance use disorders. Your role will be crucial in providing compassionate care and evidence-based solutions to help clients navigate their challenges and improve their overall mental health.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. \n
- Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. \n
- Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical framework. \n
- Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. \n
- Experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team setting. \n
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technological tools. \n

- Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred. \n
- Experience with varied therapeutic modalities and a commitment to integrating new research into practice. \n

- The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. \n
