Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 32 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) Nurse position located in Duluth, Minnesota. The role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within a dynamic hospital environment. The position requires adaptability to rotating shifts and a commitment to patient safety and outcomes. Job Details: Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts; 8-hour day/night shifts with a minimum of 32 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Minnesota Registered Nurse licensure; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS); NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 2 years of OR experience or at least one travel assignment in a similar setting; experience in General Surgery, circulating, robotic surgery, C-section, Orthopedics (including Total Joints), Urology, ENT, OB/GYN; Associate Degree or Certificate. Preferred Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Orthopedics, Urology, ENT, General Surgery, and OB/GYN; proficient in charting with Epic preferred. On-Call/Call-Back: May be scheduled on call with a minimum of 2 hours callback; call may involve low census periods. Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Coverage for 2 out of 4 weekends; holidays as needed. Additional Information: Candidates must be able to manage change effectively, remain resilient, and possess social skills suited for a fast-paced environment. Scrub colors provided, orientation week included. During flu season, vaccination compliance (flu and COVID) is mandatory; masks required for those declining vaccination.
