HealthTrust Workforce Solutions CHS is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Shift details: 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 13 week duration, days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (3x12s). 48‑hour guarantee considered. Preferred charge nurse experience may yield additional pay of $3/hr. Must be willing to float. BLS, ACLS, PALS, AZ license required. 2+ years RN experience required. EMR experience with Cerner preferred. Scrub colors/dress code: black. Trauma Level III, certified stroke, STEMI, and NIH experience not required but recommended. Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
