Registered Nurse Supervisor (Clinical Nurse Coordinator) Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit – Night Shift 7:00 P – 7:00 A. In this role you will supervise a multidisciplinary nursing team, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care during your shift. Job Summary The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for managing nursing operations, providing leadership, and coordinating all functions within the unit. The CNC works with the management team to monitor patient care quality, serve as a resource for staff, and model the organization’s mission, vision, and values. The position supports a patient‑first philosophy and contributes to the overall performance of the department. What You Will Do Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high‑quality, patient‑centered care. Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in collaboration with the management team. Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and other managers to foster teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service. Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary. Advance facility engagement initiatives by operationalizing nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives. Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, and recommend and implement training, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions to strengthen the organization. Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of labor in accordance with patient‑care needs and productivity guidelines. Support inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment. What Qualifications You Will Need Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse (RN) license. Associate Degree in Nursing or higher. No travel required.
