Job Responsibilities
  • Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft tailored therapy strategies that support their functional goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices aimed at enhancing patients' mobility, cognitive skills, and daily living capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Guide Patients and Families: Educate clients and their loved ones on therapeutic methods to promote ongoing success outside of sessions.
  • Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans to ensure positive patient trajectories.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Opportunities for continuing education and post-graduate certifications are readily available
Licensure
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
