We are seeking a Sales Consultant to drive new business growth throughout the Gainesville area. In this role, you will generate sales revenue, maintain a strong closing ratio, and cultivate qualified leads. You’ll work with company-generated leads while also proactively developing new opportunities through referrals, targeted outreach, networking, and existing client relationships.

What We Are Looking For

• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of lawn installation, irrigation, maintenance practices, and pest control services.
• Sales & Proposal Expertise: Skilled in preparing and presenting proposals with a proven track record of meeting sales goals.
• Communication & Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, listen actively, and deliver an outstanding client experience.
• Lead Management & Organization: Comfortable managing multiple accounts, conducting site visits, and maintaining detailed records in Aspire.
• Self-Motivation & Drive: Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and maintain a high closing ratio.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage prospective clients through active listening and consultative dialogue to understand needs and project goals.
• Develop customized, solution-based proposals tailored to each client’s requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments — including coordinators and production teams — to ensure seamless project handoffs and superior service delivery.
• Maintain consistent communication and attentive follow-up throughout the sales process to deliver an exceptional client experience.
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Monitor and report on sales performance during weekly Sales/Marketing L10 Meetings, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Maintain a strong closing ratio through effective lead qualification, clear value communication, and high-quality proposal presentations.
• Evaluate closing trends and implement improvements to strengthen conversion rates.
• Respond promptly to company-generated leads and track all related activities within Aspire.
• Identify and engage high-value prospects and “Most Wanted” clients through targeted outreach.
• Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to identify additional needs, upsell opportunities, and enhance satisfaction.
• Provide clear, timely communication to manage expectations and address concerns throughout the sales cycle.
• Conduct post-sale follow-ups to confirm satisfaction and ensure successful project or service initiation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records in Aspire, including leads, proposals, interactions, and sales activities.
• Anticipate potential client needs and proactively address issues before they escalate.
• Uphold company values by demonstrating professionalism, respect, and a positive, solutions-focused mindset.

  Minimum Required Experience and Education

• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in account management or sales, ideally in landscaping, pest control, or irrigation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CRM/operations software.
• Credentials: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years. Associate’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
