Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Join Our Team at Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation!

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Salem, Ohio, USA. As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Auburn, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional rehabilitation services to our guests.

About the Role:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans for our guests. You will assist with conducting physical therapy treatments, including exercises, therapies, and modalities, to help guests achieve their specific goals and improve their overall health and function. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with our interprofessional healthcare team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to our guests.

Responsibilities:

Assist with conducting physical therapy treatments, including exercises, therapies, and modalities, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team
Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify treatment goals and outcomes
Record and document patient data, progress notes, and treatment plans
Assist with planning and implementing patient care programs, including developing and leading patient education groups
Participate in patient care conferences and discharge planning meetings to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatment and progress
