Job Description

Please ensure you are aware of the following details before applying:

• This position is in a region that is commonly impacted by hurricanes. The 2026 hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, but storms can occur outside this period.
• Upon accepting this assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team," where there will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the storm passes or be part of the relief team.
• Specific pay details will be communicated regarding each storm, as impacts vary.
• By signing your travel contract with Ochsner Health, you agree to the above conditions and commit to reporting as assigned by your immediate unit manager if a storm occurs.
• If you are uncomfortable with these conditions, please consider whether to apply during this hurricane window.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
• Workweek: 5 days, 8 hours each

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) Certification required
• Experience in Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Outpatient settings required
• Ability and willingness to float between ED, main campus, outpatient, and clinics within walking distance
• Epic experience required
• GE experience required
• Not suitable for first-time travelers
• BLS certification required
