About the Position

The Massage Therapist provides professional massage and body treatments to our members and guests in a luxury wellness environment. The ideal candidate has a thorough knowledge of multiple massage modalities, a foundational understanding of body treatments, and a willingness to train in Grey Oaks’ specific spa offerings.

This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to learn and apply product and service knowledge to deliver personalized, result-driven wellness solutions.

This position reports to the Spa Manager.

• Must be available weekends and holidays
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, remain prompt for all appointments, and perform services within designated timeframes
• Provide consistent, high-quality massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols.
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling to meet the operational needs of the spa
• Uphold all sanitation, sterilization, and safety standards as required by law and spa policy
• Perform preparation, cleaning, and restocking of treatment rooms as required
• Communicate any staff or guest-related matters requiring attention to management
• Actively promote spa services, treatments, retail products, programs, and promotions
• Provide timely, accurate, and appropriate responses to guest requests
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a respectful, high-quality work environment
• Participate in and support all required training sessions and staff meetings
• Assist in all areas of spa operations as requested by management
• Share guest feedback and service concerns with spa leadership
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both guests and team members
• Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly and ensures that we provide a safe workplace for our team.

Education & Experience

• Thrives working in a team environment
• Must hold and maintain a current Florida State Massage Therapy License, in compliance with Collier County regulations
• Minimum five (5) years of experience providing massage services in a spa or similar wellness setting
• Experience working in a high-end resort or luxury property preferred
• Strong deep tissue skills with the ability to customize sessions to client needs
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy
• Strong commitment to exceptional customer service
• Friendly, professional, and engaging demeanor
• Excellent communication and listening skills; basic computer proficiency required
• Must be a collaborative and dependable team player
• Ability to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
