TalentWoo is recruiting an experienced Business Project Manager for a 4-month contract assignment with a confidential client in Phoenix, AZ. This is an opportunity to join an established Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and manage cross-functional business initiatives within a collaborative, fast-paced organization.

This is a business project management position, not an IT, software development, product development or construction project management role.

What You'll Do

• Independently manage multiple small to medium-sized cross-functional business projects from discovery through implementation.
• Partner with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, establish priorities and drive decisions.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, risk and issue logs, and executive status reports.
• Facilitate working sessions, coordinate deliverables and ensure accountability across departments.
• Identify potential obstacles early and proactively communicate with leadership.
• Support EPMO governance, reporting and coordination activities.

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 3–5 years of hands-on project management experience.
• Experience managing business operations, process improvement, business transformation or other cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguous projects and work independently with limited onboarding.
• Experience creating project plans, tracking deliverables and preparing executive-level reporting.
• Familiarity with established project management methodologies.

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience within a PMO or EPMO.
• PMP, CAPM or comparable certification.
• Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Microsoft Office. xhyhwjd

Assignment Details

• Location: Greater Phoenix, Arizona (near PHX Sky Harbor airport)
• Schedule: Hybrid, with some in-office work required

• Duration: Approximately four months

• Anticipated start: Early November 2026
• Travel: None

This assignment is particularly well suited to a hands-on project manager or experienced consultant who enjoys driving business initiatives and is comfortable managing both project execution and day-to-day PMO activities.
