Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced emergency department, providing critical care to patients in need while developing your skills and expanding your experience.

Key Responsibilities of the ER Registered Nurse

• Interpret and manage heart rhythm changes (dysrhythmias)
• Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues
• Administer blood products
• Manage central lines
• Start and maintain IVs
• Administer IV sedation and vasopressors
• Care for stroke (CVA) patients
• Care for ventilated patients
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Follow isolation precautions
• Perform triage

Requirements of the ER Registered Nurse

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience; 2 years of recent ER experience required
• Active state nursing license required (NY or compact)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• No disciplinary issues on nursing license
