Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) We are hiring for a great client in Fairhaven, MA. This is an on-site contract opportunity for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who will support students by implementing occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting. Responsibilities Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Provide direct therapy services to students to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills Assist in documenting student progress and maintaining accurate service logs Support students with classroom participation and functional independence Collaborate with teachers and support staff to carry over therapy strategies into the classroom Assist with preparing therapy materials and adapting equipment as needed Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active MA COTA license required Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred Understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr Temporary Staffing Professionals
