Restaurant Greeter

We are searching for a host/hostess with outstanding customer service skills—someone who is a real people person. You possess a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working with others in a fast-paced team environment. You should enjoy welcoming guests to our establishment and guiding them to an appropriate table, ensuring that it is cleared, and clean. Make sure there are enough seats for everyone. You’ll need a friendly, courteous manner to answer phone calls and make accurate reservations for guests. Responsibilities: • Make reservations, plan out the seating chart, and troubleshoot customer phone inquiries • Respond to questions about the menu and memorize the daily specials whenever needed • Welcome all diners with a friendly attitude to create an excellent first impression • Make sure dining room tables and chairs are neatly organized at all times and that condiments on the table are restocked if low • Lead all guests to their seats, ensuring they all have a place to sit, proper glass and tableware, filled water glasses, and menus Qualifications: • Some restaurant, hospitality, and/or food services industry experience is preferred • Must be able to handle a fast-paced atmosphere with periods of standing on feet for an extended length of time • Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills, as well as the ability to deal with customer requests in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner • This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED and a good command of the English language Compensation: $15 - $16 hourly
