Part-Time Executive Assistant — Private Household

A dual-career executive household with two school-age children is seeking an experienced part-time Executive Assistant for ongoing engagement. This is a direct hire role, W-2 employment, with a competitive hourly rate.

The role at a glance:

• 10-15 hours per week, with a 10-hour minimum
• Mostly remote, with approximately one in-person day per month in lower Westchester
• Tri-state area candidates (NY, NJ, CT)
• W-2 employment via established household payroll

What you'd be doing:

• Calendar management across multiple family members and staff
• Processing incoming communications (email, school portals, family logistics) and surfacing what needs attention
• Travel planning and ground transportation coordination, domestic and international
• Coordination with existing household staff
• Maintaining a system of record for tasks, deadlines, and recurring obligations
• Anticipating needs and surfacing items before they become urgent

Who we're looking for:

• Substantial prior experience as an Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff to a senior executive
• Ideally returning to part-time work after a corporate career, or already working in part-time / fractional executive support
• Highly detail-oriented with a track record of catching things others would miss
• Tech-fluent: comfortable with Google Calendar, Todoist or similar task systems, and using AI tools (such as Claude or Gemini) for processing long communications and extracting action items
• Discreet, professional, and accustomed to handling confidential information
• Strong written communication
• Self-directed and proactive; comfortable managing systems rather than waiting for tasks to be assigned
