Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with orthopedic injuries, identifying mobility limitations and functional impairments.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, aligning therapeutic goals with patient lifestyle considerations.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, dry needling, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to facilitate recovery.
• Regularly assess patient progress, modifying treatment approaches as required based on objective measurements and patient feedback.
• Educate patients about their conditions, promotes injury prevention strategies, and develop home exercise programs to reinforce skills learned during therapy sessions.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation technicians to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, which may include sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. The diverse patient demographic will range from active young adults to older adults requiring rehabilitative care after surgeries or injuries. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients of varying backgrounds, each with unique rehabilitation needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with a strong foundation in assessment and rehabilitation techniques.
• Proficiency in creating patient-centered care plans that address complex clinical situations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to facilitate effective collaboration and patient education.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining a high level of patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient settings dealing with a high volume of orthopedic cases.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.
• Previous involvement in developing and leading community wellness programs or workshops.

Bodywise Physical Therapy LLC offers a competitive annual compensation package ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
