Pediatrician – East Houston ABC Pediatric Clinic is seeking a compassionate, collaborative pediatrician to join its established outpatient practice in East Houston. This family-owned, independent practice has served the community for more than 20 years and is known for strong patient relationships, continuity of care, and a welcoming, family-centered environment. Position Highlights Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. No weekends or after-hours clinic Average patient volume of approximately 26 patients per day Outpatient care only No hospital admissions, inpatient rounding, or nursery responsibilities Very light backup call approximately one month every seven to nine months Pediatric nurse triage service handles all initial calls Established team of seven providers, including physicians and advanced practice providers Single clinic location with convenient access from the Houston loop EMR: Office Practicum Candidate Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics Eligible for medical licensure in Texas Medical Spanish proficiency required Experienced pediatricians preferred; new graduates are also encouraged to apply Kind, empathetic, and patient-focused Collaborative team player who values mutual respect and continuity of care Benefits Malpractice coverage Paid time off and holidays Health insurance Retirement plan The ideal candidate will value community-based medicine and enjoy developing meaningful, long-term relationships with children and their families.
