Job Title: Logistics Assistant – Claims

Department: Supply Chain – Distribution Center

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Assistant with experience in freight and transportation claims to support our Distribution Center operations. The ideal candidate will assist with shipment documentation, investigate claims, coordinate with carriers and internal teams, and help ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process and track freight and transportation claims.
• Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and customer service to resolve shipment issues.
• Maintain accurate shipping and claims records.
• Investigate damaged, lost, or short shipments.
• Prepare reports and update claim status.
• Support daily logistics and distribution center operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of logistics, warehouse, or supply chain experience.
• Experience handling freight or transportation claims preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/WMS systems is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
