Safety Engineer Automotive

We are seeking a Functional Safety Engineer to support safety compliance within a Connected Car Test (CCT) Lab environment. This role will act as a safety lead, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and company standards while working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of guiding engineering teams on hazard awareness and risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities Act as the functional safety expert for the CCT Lab and ensure compliance with safety standards Perform periodic audits of safety procedures and report findings to management Coordinate with Quality and Safety teams to maintain lab compliance requirements Develop, document, and maintain safety procedures and operational guidelines Coach and guide engineers on hazard identification and risk mitigation practices Monitor and document daily safety activities and ensure accurate record-keeping Identify opportunities to improve safety processes and implement best practices Support problem-solving activities within projects using a structured, functional approach Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field 2–4 years of experience in safety, lab environment, or related domain (fresh graduates with strong knowledge can apply) Strong understanding of safety principles, hazard identification, and risk mitigation Experience with audits, compliance, and safety documentation Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities High attention to detail and accountability Additional Information Occasional evening or weekend work may be required #J-18808-Ljbffr PROLIM Corporation
