Operating Room RNSpringfield Regional Outpatient Surgery Center (Springfield OSC) is a Medicare-certified, AAAHC-accredited ambulatory surgery center located in Springfield, Ohio. With four operating rooms and a procedure room, the center provides high-quality, cost-effective outpatient surgical care across specialties including orthopedics, sports medicine, digestive health, general surgery, spine, women's health, plastic surgery, podiatry, and pain management. Owned and operated in partnership with local physicians, Springfield OSC combines advanced technology with compassionate, patient-centered care in a convenient setting.Role Summary: The Operating Room RN provides direct patient care and serves as a patient advocate in the operating room. This role supports surgeons and anesthesia providers, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the perioperative process.Hours: Monday–Friday schedule (hours variable, must work 6 hours/ month). No nights, weekends, holidays, or call.What You'll Do:Serve as circulating nurse, supporting patients, surgeons, and anesthesia staff during proceduresPrepare and maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient operating environmentAccurately assess patient needs, provide reassurance, and involve families in care decisions when appropriateCollaborate with the surgical team and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and colleaguesSupport patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement initiativesParticipate in staff education, orientation, and professional developmentOrganize and manage supplies, equipment, and staff for effective case managementWhat You'll Bring:Active RN licenseCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationAssociate's degree or higher in nursingPerioperative nursing experience preferredStrong teamwork, communication, and patient-advocacy skillsPhysical & Work Environment Requirements:Frequent standing, walking, and liftingOccasional stooping, kneeling, or climbingRegular interaction with patients of all ages in a fast-paced surgical environmentAbility to lift/move up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs) and meet physical demands of the roleCompensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and qualifications)Healthcare benefits package401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Supportive, collaborative, and growing environment
