Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Revenue Cycle Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Temecula, CA. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced revenue cycle professional who is ready to lead daily RCM operations, support team performance, and help improve billing, collections, denials, and accounts receivable outcomes.

This position offers a hybrid/remote telecommuting environment with periodic in-person meetings or training. The role provides the opportunity to work with a collaborative healthcare revenue cycle team, supportive leadership, and a structure that values accuracy, accountability, process improvement, and professional growth. The ideal candidate will enjoy leading people, solving complex payer issues, analyzing performance trends, and helping create a high-performing revenue cycle operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily revenue cycle operations, including claims follow-up, payment posting, denials, collections, and patient financial services.
- Monitor staff workload, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness to ensure department goals and service standards are met.
- Perform quality audits, provide coaching and feedback, support training, and assist with onboarding new team members.
- Partner with RCM leadership to identify process improvements that reduce denials, improve reimbursement, and strengthen cash flow.
- Resolve escalated payer issues, claim corrections, appeals, and complex accounts receivable follow-up needs.
- Generate and review reports related to AR aging, denials, cash flow, and productivity to identify trends and recommend action.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $75,000 to $80,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire, full-time.
- FLSA status: Exempt.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid/remote telecommuting with periodic in-person meetings or trainings.
- Location: Temecula, CA.
- Schedule note: Occasional extended hours may be required during month-end or special projects.
