General Worker - Child Nutrition
We want YOU here! Our Child Nutrition staff play an integral part in serving our mission to continuously improve meals and services to meet nutritional requirements, provide a variety of menu items, and give the healthiest choices with the freshest ingredients available. As a General Worker, you would have the opportunity to share these improvements firsthand with the students of our District through the preparation and serving of our meals.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION LEVEL: High school diploma
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Constant standing, hand-eye and mind-eye coordination; frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers, bending over, stooping, hearing, holding and crouching.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to follow written and oral directions. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; adhere to District safety procedures. Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance. Consistent work attendance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
- Prepares Food.
- Sets up serving line.
- Serves food.
- Cleans serving and preparation area.
- Washes dishes, pots, and pans.
- Restores order to serving area.
- Adheres to District safety procedures.
- Reads communications from Child Nutrition Services Office.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
PAY INFORMATION
Level DX, starting at $17.75 per hour
Pay Day: Last working day of each month, based on the payroll cutoff schedule.
HOURS & FTE
Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
0.5 FTE, 20 hours per week, 9 months
