Recovery Room Nurse, GI/Endoscopy

Role Overview This position involves providing quality post-operative patient care in accordance with nursing standards and philosophy, focusing on post-anesthesia and critical care . Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care based on individual physiologic and surgical factors. React swiftly to adverse physiological changes to stabilize patients. Maintain aseptic techniques and proper use of recovery room equipment. Communicate effectively through verbal and written reports to ensure continuity of care. Participate in quality assurance and ongoing education programs. Demonstrate professionalism by showing courtesy, compassion, and respect. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of two years' recovery room or critical care experience. High school diploma or GED required. Valid Registered Nurse license from applicable states or a compact license. Credentials from multiple states required post-hire, including licenses from Virginia, Maryland, or District of Columbia within specified periods. Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support. Strong communication skills and proficiency with computer software. Preferred Qualifications Recent recovery room experience.
