Job Summary
Ultrasonographer General in the specialty of Ultrasonography is based in an undefined location. This role involves performing ultrasound examinations with a focus on obstetric (OB) and vascular imaging. The position requires collaboration with physicians to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety during procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ARDMS-RDMS certification, BLS certification, and strong OB and vascular ultrasound experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Satisfactory completion of an accredited ultrasonic training program and two or more years of paid ultrasound experience.
• Responsibilities include: operating complex ultrasound equipment, maintaining equipment and supplies, patient positioning and preparation, correlating clinical history with tests, performing ultrasound studies, assisting with biopsies and aspirations, participating in reading sessions, and maintaining safety standards.
• Additional information: Requires effective communication skills for patient directions and interdepartmental coordination; demonstrates clinical knowledge across patient age ranges up to 100+ years.
