responsibilities:

• Define, develop, and deploy optical and computer vision-based measurement and instrumentation systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Transfer measurement technologies from early-stage development into robust products suitable for high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Manage external supplier relationships, defining scopes of work, quoting, tracking deliverables, and approving invoices for system integration.
• Design experiments and analyze data to optimize measurement system performance and enhance overall production processes.
• Create technical documentation, train plant personnel, and deliver remote or on-site troubleshooting for installed measurement systems.

qualifications:
BS or MS in Optics, Physics, EE, or CE with 3+ years of hands-on machine vision and metrology experience, or a PhD in a related field.

Proven expertise in optical measurement development, physical optics, image processing algorithms, and C# or Python programming.

Strong background in systems engineering, data analysis, and electrical, optical, or mechanical troubleshooting.
