CNC Field Service Technician (Entry)

If you're a hands‑on mechanic or maintenance technician who wants to move into field service—and you're ready to be the person customers call when a machine is down—this is where that career starts at TARUS. You'll report daily to our Sterling Heights facility before dispatching to customer sites, supported by an experienced senior team as you build your field skills. What You'll Do Perform hands‑on mechanical and electrical maintenance on CNC machines at customer sites Troubleshoot and diagnose machine issues, working alongside senior technicians on complex cases Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections Interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and machine documentation Document service visits and repairs with detailed service reports Deliver professional, customer‑focused service at every site Travel Up to 25% domestic travel — mostly regional day trips out of Sterling Heights. Occasional overnight stays based on customer needs.
