Receptionist PositionThe Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere. This role manages the front desk, answers phones, directs visitors, and provides clerical support to facility operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer phones courteously, direct calls, and take accurate messages.Welcome and direct visitors, vendors, and applicants; maintain visitor log.Provide accurate information to residents, families, and staff as requested.Sort and distribute mail, packages, and messages promptly.Assist with clerical tasks such as copying, filing, and data entry.Support survey readiness through professional conduct and accurate records.Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and customer service skills.Organizational and clerical abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and phone systems.Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent.PreferredExperience in healthcare or office reception role.Physical & Work RequirementsProlonged sitting with occasional walking and standing.Ability to lift 5--40 lbs and push wheelchairs as needed.Personal AttributesProfessionalismCompassion and empathyIntegrityAdaptability
