Safety Technician As a Safety Technician, you will help maintain a safe and compliant workplace by evaluating industrial hygiene, conducting safety training, and serving as a trusted safety and environmental resource across our production facility. Responsibilities Conduct industrial hygiene evaluations in manufacturing facilities. Develop and teach safety and environmental training sessions. Serve as an internal safety and environmental consultant to all JLG locations. Maintain all industrial hygiene equipment, including maintenance and calibrations. Assist with gathering and reporting on company injury statistics. Assist with JLG Safety and Environmental Compliance Program review. Perform site visits to improve regulatory compliance and best practices. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental field. 1+ years of environmental and/or safety experience. Bilingual in Spanish (standout). Prior experience in a manufacturing/production facility. Background in environmental regulations. Willingness to travel to various plant locations. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform basic statistical analysis and interpret data. Working Conditions Work in a manufacturing or production environment with exposure to loud noise, dust, moving machinery, or temperature fluctuations. Possibility of standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, climbing, or using tools and equipment. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when required. Visual and auditory acuity required for safe equipment operation and effective communication.
