Director of Operations

Fifth Gear Fulfillment is a fast-growing third-party logistics (3PL) and fulfillment partner built for modern consumer brands. We currently support a high-volume eCommerce supplement business shipping approximately 100,000 orders per month and are actively expanding into additional brands and categories. We are entering a major growth phase, including transitioning into a new warehouse facility, expanding operational capabilities, and building the infrastructure needed to scale efficiently over the coming years. We’re looking for a high-level operator to partner directly with the founder and help lead the next chapter of growth. The Role We are looking for a strategic operator who can help run and scale the business alongside the founder — someone equally comfortable discussing operational strategy, financial performance, labor planning, and warehouse execution. The Director of Operations will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across the business while helping build the systems, processes, leadership structure, and financial discipline needed to scale. This person will oversee day-to-day fulfillment operations through warehouse leadership while maintaining a strong pulse on the floor and helping guide major operational and business decisions. What You’ll Do: Partner directly with the founder on operational strategy, planning, and business decision-making Help manage and review operational P&Ls, contribution margins, labor costs, and overall business performance Lead operational planning and execution during our upcoming warehouse transition and future scaling initiatives Help oversee warehouse operations across receiving, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, and staffing Build scalable systems, workflows, SOPs, and operational infrastructure Drive labor planning and workforce efficiency while maintaining service levels and operational quality Monitor and improve KPIs across fulfillment speed, accuracy, inventory integrity, labor efficiency, and cost performance Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve scalability and profitability Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, and brand teams to support client growth and onboarding Own operational reporting and help establish forecasting and planning processes across the business Help shape the long-term operational vision and growth strategy of the company What We’re Looking For 7+ years of operations, logistics, fulfillment, warehouse, or supply chain leadership experience Experience leading high-volume operational teams in fast-paced environments Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing operational budgets, labor costs, or P&Ls Proven ability to build systems and improve operational performance in scaling businesses Experience managing hourly warehouse labor and operational leadership teams Strong analytical and decision-making skills Ability to operate both strategically and tactically depending on business needs Comfortable working in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments with evolving priorities Strong sense of ownership and accountability Excellent communication and leadership skills Competitive compensation package ranging from $150,000 - $175,000 annually based on experience Opportunity to play a major leadership role in a rapidly growing business High ownership and direct exposure to company strategy and decision-making Fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with significant growth opportunity #J-18808-Ljbffr Easy Street Brands
