Exemption Status & Compensation United States of America (Exempt). Pay range: $188,204 - $272,896 - $357,587. Company Overview Prescient Holdings Group (PHG) is a healthcare company providing pharmaceutical management solutions to payers, patients, and providers. We are focused on developing the most effective strategies for optimizing drug access and spend through our suite of formulary and rebate services. Job Description Summary Lead corporate strategy for financial performance and growth in partnership with the executive team. Identify and create strategic opportunities to position PHG as a leading thought leader in the PBM and healthcare space. Roles & Responsibilities Oversee and manage strategic planning and daily operations of the Finance team. Support key financial objectives that align with the business plan for performance and growth. Engage relevant team members to align financial and operational objectives. Collaborate with Finance teams to refine and improve billing functions, providing customized billing logic for specialized revenue, customers and projects. Continuously identify areas for improvement to streamline work processes and enhance billing functionality. Support financial analysis, underwriting, and forecasts of current and prospective client business, vendor offerings, corporate initiatives, product launches, and new service offerings. Stay informed on changing market dynamics that impact business operations. Develop strategies and solutions to maximize opportunities. Demonstrate strong leadership influence and negotiating abilities through a data‑driven approach. Lead efforts to enhance existing database and dashboarding functionality. Provide routine guidance and solutions to improve user experience and executive‑level visibility. Monitor and communicate potential risks related to existing processes. Suggest improvements and appropriate solutions. Collaborate on the timeliness and accuracy of data and reporting to clients and vendors per contractual agreements. Manage the team that leads the day‑to‑day operations of rebate billing, cash receipts and reconciliation processes. Ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet accuracy requirements for rebate payments made to clients and received from vendor partners. Maintain policies and procedures to provide reasonable assurance that company assets are protected. Hire, develop and manage accounting staff as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities Manage assigned staff in the segment area. Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems. Support and enforce all company policies and procedures fairly and consistently, taking corrective action when necessary. Client Responsibilities Act as an internal and external client‑facing professional requiring excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Manage difficult or emotional client situations. Respond promptly to client needs. Solicit client feedback to improve service. Respond to requests for service and assistance from clients. Meet commitments to clients. Qualifications Education: BA/BS Degree or equivalent; 12 years related experience; 10 years of SME experience; 8 years supervisory experience (or a substituted pathway as outlined). Computer Skills: Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Power BI), Outlook, databases, and familiarity with SQL, Oracle, and SAS for large pharmacy claim datasets. Other Skills and Abilities: Direct experience with pharmaceutical manufacturers, PBM’s, or entities offering comparable pharmacy rebate services is preferred; dynamic and vocal thought leader; willingness to engage new areas and partner with internal and external stakeholders; strong reasoning, mathematical, and language skills; competencies in business acumen, directing others, organizational agility, conflict management, drive for results, political savvy, customer focus, innovation management, strategic agility, decision quality, and managerial courage. Physical Demands Regularly sit, talk, or hear; stand, walk, use hands for finger, handle, or feel tasks; occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Work Environment Office environment with moderate noise level; standard business office setup with occasional exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, or other hazards as described in the policy. Work Location & Hours On‑site at the San Diego Headquarters or other company location; remote work possible with management approval. Requires flexibility beyond traditional hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed. Core business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Domestic travel may comprise up to 10% of time.
