Associate Level Manufacturing Assembler

Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity by following established practices and procedures Apply a substantial and thorough understanding of the job Work 100% onsite at one of the listed location options Participate in evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and processes to ensure conformance and reproducibility requirements are met Work assigned shifts, including Shift 2 Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design) 1 or more years of experience working with specialized tools (preferred) Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities data, engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams and schematics, functional tests, and supplier data (preferred) Ability to differentiate production/manufacturing processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements (preferred) Knowledge of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and process evaluation and qualification (preferred) Knowledge of FOD prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements, and ESD (preferred) Ability to work any shift as assigned Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status Must live in the immediate area or relocate at own expense Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in production assembly operations, including the ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
