Registered Nurse - Med Surg Cardiac Unit About the job Registered Nurse - Med Surg Cardiac Unit Workwise Healthcare Staffing and Consulting is seeking forskilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Cardiac Unit. Responsibilities: Providecare for patients utilizing fetal and maternal monitoring equipment. Manage the patient's pain including epidural and patient controlled analgesia administration. Assist physician during delivery, treatment, examination and surgical procedures. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Provide patient and family education on labor, pain and newborn care. Conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
