Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Telemetry

• Obtain and record initial assessments and establish priorities according to patient needs
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and required interventions
• Develop and implement a measurable, individualized plan of care for patients
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcomes and evaluations
• Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Telemetry

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
