Job Description
We are seeking a Cast House General Equipment Operator in Victorville, CA for a Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire position on Day or Night shifts (Monday–Sunday) . This role supports cast house operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment by safely operating equipment, assisting with molten metal processes, monitoring production flow, and performing routine inspections to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. Candidates should be comfortable working in an industrial setting, around heat and molten metal, and able to adapt to changing production needs.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial equipment including forklifts, furnaces, and saws
- Support molten metal processing (transfer, sampling, cleaning)
- Inspect equipment such as furnaces, molds, and troughs
- Record production data and maintain accurate logs
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Requirements
- Industrial or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout shift
- Comfortable working in hot environments with molten metal
- Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Team-oriented with strong attention to detail
